The Center for the Arts at Monmouth University is the University’s primary facility for the production of programs, events and projects to enrich the campus and community, encouraging creative thinking, inspiration and entertainment via the visual, literary, and performance arts.

The recently renovated 700-capacity Pollak Theatre is one of the University’s main venues for hosting a variety of events. These include performances from touring artists such as Rosanne Cash, Jason Isbell, L.A. Theatreworks, and Ailey II Dance Company, as well as broadcasts of the MET Opera, National Theatre of London, and The Bolshoi Ballet. The Universitys own programs include the Performing Arts Series; Children’s Theatre; Visiting Writers Series, and World Cinema Series. The facility may also be hired for external events, including seminars and workshops, dance performances, and speaker series.
