The renowned Candlelight performance series will bring a legendary rivalry between two of classical music’s greatest names to Pollak Theater on Wednesday, June 24th, 2026 for one night only. A legendary rivalry between two of the most extraordinary geniuses in the world of classical music will be recreated and performed at this one evening of entertainment. The greatest of serenades by Mozart as well as some of the most famous symphonies by Beethoven will be performed in order to create a unique atmosphere.

This special evening of timeless music performances will take place at Pollak theater on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. The evening of interlude performances of famous works by two of the greatest classical music giants of all time, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven, will be presented by Candlelight: Mozart vs. Beethoven. The orchestra will perform in a sacred site surrounded by thousands of candles bringing the pure songs of Mozart and the passionate symphonies of Beethoven to life. This evening of classical music will take place at Pollak theater in West Long Branch, New Jersey.
The songs performed for this evening will consist of select compositions by two of the most influential figures in music history: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven. A movement from Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 will highlight the composer’s fine songwriting from the Classical period. Contrasting to that will be songs from Beethoven’s soulful compositions which transitioned from the Classical period to the groundbreaking era of music. This performance will also feature Beethoven’s famous “piano solo, Für Elise”.
